第一季以江苏省内震泽、皂河、同里、窑湾、栟茶、丁蜀、戴埠、连岛8个特色小镇为主题，采用寻访纪实与真人秀结合的拍摄形式，呈现水韵江苏特色，由知名主持人孟非领衔，邀请文化名人坐镇，并携手全省各地文旅专家、优秀青年代表组成“水韵江苏探寻团”，深入各小镇，亲身探访各地风俗风貌。通过对江苏文旅资源的挖掘，探索地方文化背后的深 层次文化内涵，在一段段未知的旅途中，呈现“你所不知道的”水韵江苏之美。
